Trimming to get out dead branches and limbs to open up trees to let the wind through also to get limbs away from roofs so they are not rubbing on the house. Cabling is also important. If there are any cracked or open crotches in the trees. Best time to trim oaks & elms is late fall or winter. Also Birch trees, apples, and flowering crabs are best if done in fall to early spring. |
